Anti-Ragging Circular
Practical School of Nursing, Bhandup
STRICT ANTI-RAGGING GUIDELINES
All students, teaching staff, and non-teaching staff are hereby informed that **ragging in any form is strictly prohibited** within the premises of Practical School of Nursing, Bhandup. This prohibition extends to classrooms, laboratories, clinical postings, hospitals, the library, and online/social media platforms.
*Compliance: Maharashtra Prohibition of Ragging Act, 1999 & directives of Indian Nursing Council (INC).*
Definition of Ragging
Ragging includes any physical, verbal, emotional, sexual, financial, social, or psychological harassment, teasing, bullying, humiliation, abuse, or intimidation causing discomfort to a student.
Zero-Tolerance Policy
The management follows a zero-tolerance approach toward ragging. Involved students shall face strict disciplinary actions, including:
- Immediate Suspension
- Rustication / Expulsion
- Cancellation of Admission
- FIR / Police Complaint
- Penalty under Law
- Debarment from Exams
Anti-Ragging Committee & Squad: The institution has a dedicated committee to monitor and prevent ragging activities in all areas. All students are instructed to strictly follow these guidelines.
